Last year (2018) was the 50th anniversary of Hot Wheels. To mark the occasion, Hot Wheels put out many special series to commemorate the occasion. There was a black and gold series of 6 models, I just picked up the ’64 Impala, it is a nice deco but the cars were pricey.
In the mainline there were 10 models of the 50th Anniversary Hot Wheels Race Team, mostly in the blue and white Hot Wheels colours, some of the cars also had wheels with the number 50 imprinted on them.
I didn’t go out of my way to find 50th anniversary models and many of the series weren’t available here in Georgia (the country) like the Throwback Collection, the Stars and Stripes Collection and the Camaro Collection.
